The Shit Sandwich

Everyone who's been on an EB will know how this works - something good, something bad, something good.

- In an effort to be less "vanilla", this year promises more sports, dance classes with Jill (maybe salsa or tango), plus (in a late-new-years-resolution kinda way) a new language. Long term goal is to be a conversational trilingual by the time I'm 25.

- MotherfuckinCOLTSRAAARGH.

Tha Colts are totally the NFL version of the England football team. Great team, could potentially beat anyone, haven't won a game that meant anything in ages. When they got that fumble right at the very end I was certain they were going to win, one of those come-from-behind types that are talked about in hushed tones years from now on ESPN. That's the way it goes, I guess. No team I really root for in it anymore, so I'll just be watching for the entertainment, I guess.

Mother fucker.

- Congratulations to Shirley Ma (former Michigan LCP) on her election as the new MCP of AIESEC Canada!

Giving it the Old College Try

Whoops, been a while since the last post... WSC ended really, really well. Everyone came through the tough stuff and brought it up to a high, just the way a conference should end. Hope everyone that was there enjoyed themselves (coughcoughwithin the boundaries of the policiescoughcoughcough)!

I headed from Dayton to Bloomington after everything had ended for some quality time with some old friends. Huge weekend. Highlights:

- 3 nights; 3 circles of death.
- Being totally awesome at Beer Pong on night 1.
- Totally sucking at Beer pong on night 2
- Wandering around campus, enjoying the memories.
- Scoring tickets to the IU-Ohio State basketball game (thanks Andy!)
- Shouting myself hoarse when we finally fucking won in like the last 5 seconds.
- Dinner at the Irish Lion.
- Mad Mushroom cheesy bread at 1 in the morning.
- Eating my own weight in pancakes on the Saturday.
- Being introduced to the Blooming bars by Kyle and Brad - first bar we went into had underwear hanging from the ceiling and a fight broke out within 20 seconds of us arriving.
- Playing Sink the Bis (random but fun).
- More 1am cheesy bread.
- No fuck ups on the journey home (Bloomington-Indy-Dayton-Detroit-New York).

Been a pretty chill week after that. Good to be home!

Happy New Year!

Umm... Happy New Year! Hope it was a good time wherever and whenever you celebrated. The party here was definately a good time, and the extra sleeping-time this morning was a bonus.

Today is also my 6 month anniversary of joining the national team - I'll try and write something inspirational about it when I haven't got agendas coming out of my ass.
