Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes...
Phew.
MENA LDS was amazing - over 200 AIESECers learning from each other, sharing their cultures and having a great time. I met so many people that are going to have a huge impact on the region... hopefully one day a few of them will be at the front of the room, leading their peers towards great things in the future. Maybe some of them will be from AIESEC Oman... Seriously, seeing the Qatari, Bahraini and Jordanian delegates has given me a serious jones to get started this summer. Maybe at MENA XLDS next year there'll be a small group of passionate individuals representing Muscat to the world... Inshallah...
So now I'm in Cairo, starting my traineeship. Thus far the people are cool, the roomies fun, the food delicious and the drivers STARTLINGLY INSANE. Good times await, my friends.
The problem about my sporadic updating is that I fall behind in the stuff that's happening to me. Upcoming posts should include:
- My travel from the Hotel Noeufel to Cairo (shockingly epic, and not in a good way)
- Cool pics from the conference
- Standard updates about living the trainee life after 5 1/2 years in AIESEC
- The costume I wore to a party in Manchester before I left (hint: there were three easy steps to making the costume, and I can wear it for Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa)
